Toddler with birth defect melts hearts after showing his dog he can walk
An absolutely heart melting video showing a little kid while celebrating his first steps with his beloved pup, went viral with numerous views
Roman Dinkel, a two years old toddler from Overland Park, Kansas was born with a birth defect called spina bifida, made him unable to walk. However, defeating all the chances, the little warrior made his first steps by his very own, after one year of treatment. And since the moment was the happiest of his life he shared it with his best fella, Maggie!
” Look, Maggie! I’m walking, Maggie!” the lovable kid was saying, overwhelmed by enthusiasm.
” Before he was born, we were informed that there was a possibility that he wouldn’t have the ability to walk,” Roman’s father, Adam Dinkel, told “Good Morning America.”” [We were] scared, confused on why this was occurring. And fear is really the huge kicker, because you want all your children to have a wonderful life.”
Because day one, Roman was a fighter and the perfect optimist. Constantly with a big smile on his face, Roman is amazing cute. “He’s everybody’s best friend,” Whitney Dinkel, the boy’s mom said. “He might make even the grumpiest person smile.”
Because the video was first shared on Facebook, it got greater than 26 million views with people absolutely touched by it. Maggie must be so happy, because Roman definitely is!
Roman’s mother claimed she got tons of messages from people who wanted to show their support or to explain how moved they were by the footage! “From random people informing us their tale, you know, how they were depressed … or just how they were going through these medical situations and to see that he influenced them in a positive way to change their mindset and change their view it’s just so heartfelt,” toddler’s mother said.
Roman even has a Facebook page where his family constantly share updates of his healing. And the things are simply improving and much better. “Not only did he walk all over the yard but then he walked across the street and down the road and reversed and came all the way back,” Witney said.
