One terrible viral image, nevertheless, shows a lap dog that has been abandoned and left chained to a fire hydrant by her previous owner. The dog is currently, fortunately, in capable care. Baby Girl, a tan mixed-breed puppy, was abandoned chained to a fire hydrant in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

A statement stating that the owners can no more look after the canine was found with it, along with a backpack containing all of the canine’s food, treats, and toys, according to WFRV Local 5.

Although it is obvious that the owners had their reasons and thought they were acting responsibly, this did not lessen the shock for Kyle Rose Engelhardt, a local lady who found the puppy and published about it on Facebook.

” Can not think someone could do this,” she added, asking whether anyone knew the abandoned dog. She claimed that seeing Baby Girl in this problem shattered her heart. Baby Girl was required to the Wisconsin Humane Society by Kylie after she phoned the police, and they claim she is now “doing wonderful” while being held as a stray.

Although many people were outraged by the story and felt that this wasn’t the best way to part with a dog, the Humane Society was more sympathetic and wrote to the owners in a Facebook post:

First and foremost, we are so sorry you had to part with your best friend. It’s evident simply how much you liked her and we can see you did your best while struggling with your very own medical complications and challenges of life. We see your love guaranteed you carefully packed with all of her favorite things.

We see your love in the way you secured her leash so she would not get hit by a vehicle. We see your love in the way you placed her in the middle of a neighborhood where she would certainly be quickly found. We see your love in how happy and healthy Baby Girl looks. And we see your love in the note you left, pleading for somebody to assist her when you no longer could.

The Humane Society told the owners they were eventually ” thankful for your generosity,” although that they enable anonymous surrenders and will not let surrender fees “be a barrier”

They said that Baby Girl is currently the center of the team’s attention which she has a “promising future ahead of her.” We can just imagine just how devastated and perplexed Baby Girl felt after being abandoned because way. However, it is clear that the owners were unable to care for her any longer, and everything turned out alright in the end.
