Stray Cat Brings All Her Babies To Meet The Woman Who Helped Her
Lisianne remained in her yard one summer day when she spotted a fluffy black cat straying nearby. The cat came from a nest of strays near her home in Québec, Canada, and appeared hungry, so she put out a bowl of food and water.
Lisianne called the cat Usagi and both worked out right into a routine– Lisianne would lay out food for the waiting cat, and with each passing day, Usagi started to trust her more and more. Usagi’s belly started to grow and Lisianne realized that it wasn’t from her new diet.
” With this regular, the lady got confidence and the kitty started getting close,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a local rescue group, wrote on Facebook. “The cat delivered outside, however she came back everyday to eat.”

Weeks passed, and Usagi decided it was time to introduce Lisianne to her little family. The cat brought out her babies one by one till all six were lined up on Lisianne’s porch. The 6-week-old kittens appeared like miniature versions of their mother, and it was clear that the little family required help.
Lisianne coaxed the mom and babies into her house and called the rescue team Chatons Orphelins Montréal. “The mom and her 6 babies were finally safe,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal composed.” [Lisianne] chosen to maintain the mom [and] treated and spayed her and among her good friends took one of the kittens under her wing.”
At the sanctuary, rescue workers found that Usagi had requested help just in time. The staying kitties were struggling with conjunctivitis and had problem breathing. The vet was able to treat them, and their health quickly improved. And as they healed, they started to expand accustomed to being around people.
” The babies were reserved, they required socialization,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal claimed. “They began trusting and appearing of their covering. The kids love having a good time together.”
The remaining 5 kittens are now prepared to look for their forever homes, and thanks to their caring mother who took a chance, they will certainly be able to live the rest of their lives comfortably.
