Niven came to us as part of a large trapping project. Often, we have no indication a cat we’re trapping is friendly when they are in the field. A scared former housecat will often act just as shy, scared, or defensive, as a feral cat that wants nothing to do with the indoor life. Every cat that comes through the Sad Boy and Lola Center for Community Cats gets assessed by our team to gauge their interest in entering our rescue program. Niven said “sign me up for scritches please” and promptly found herself in a lovely foster home. Thank you for making her new life possible.
