We all strive to live to be 100 or more years old and be called a centenarian. While not all are lucky enough to reach this goal, those who do should celebrate in a big way. However, a woman in Ukraine just wanted one thing for her milestone birthday – cat food.
Mrs. Claudia shares her home with ten cats that she adores and wants only to provide them with the best life. United for Animals, a Greater Good Charities’ partner in Ukraine, shared that the woman in Kherson was celebrating her 100th birthday and only asked for wet cat food.
Thanks to your generous donations, Greater Good Charities and United for Animals were able to grant her wish and provide cartons of wet cat food for all of Mrs. Claudia’s felines.
“We simply couldn’t ignore it and promptly sent assistance to this incredible woman who, in such difficult times, cares for her furry friends. Thanks to your support, we were able to wish Mrs. Claudia a happy birthday and provide support for her beloved pets. Thank you for this incredible help, as it is so valuable in today’s world,” shared United for Animals.
But that’s not all.
When the aid workers dropped off the cat food, they also brought the sweet woman flowers and a cake. The smile on her face said it all.
Sadly, there are so many homeless pets that are roaming the war-torn streets of Ukraine looking for food. Join us in helping to feed them by donating below.
