The General Lee, sometimes shortly referred as the General, is technically 1969 Dodge Charger used in the legendary television series Dukes of Hazzard. It’s famous for its horns, police chases, long jumps and having its door welded shut. There are different sources about the number of General Lees, bur former cast member Ben Jones says that 325 General Lees were used in the show. In today’s video, you’re going to see the most important surviving General Lee. This is the only survivor 440 R/T Charger from the Dukes of Hazzard. It is a true legend in the American automotive industry and it continues to become more iconic as it gets old.
