Meet 9-month-old Ozark! First, it should be known that he is not a real cat. He is, in fact, a teddy bear that purrs and sleeps all the time pretending to be a cat. He loves to snuggle right up next to your face and to be held just like a baby — especially for naps. He will even rub his face on yours out of love. He isn’t super playful, but when he is, it’s a short buzz around the room with a crinkle toy. Always a crinkle ball toy . . . he is OBSESSED with them!
Adoptable Felines
Ozark prefers to be an only kitty, hogging all the love and attention his humans can dish out. He does live with other kitties but tends to get frustrated with them (they don’t realize all the love is supposed to be just for him!) He is okay with chill dogs and would be fine with kids, too. Considered a domestic short-hair mix, this handsome boy with some tabby in him is house-trained and has no special needs — other than love and patience while he’s settling in.
It’s important to note that all animals need time to adjust to new situations and that their true selves might not come out for at least a week or two until they determine they’re safe. Because of this, it’s vital that they are given the space and adjustment period on their own time, not yours. You should never rush it.
Finding Forever Homes
Ozark is currently being fostered by a caregiver working with the Southern Arizona Cat Rescue. He is neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
