Meet Hookah! She is a beautiful 4-month-old brown tabby with big caramel-colored eyes that will melt your heart and unique stripes that are as soft as velvet to the touch. She LOVES to play with the other cats in her foster home, wrestle with any toy in her path, and find warm, soft places to snuggle up and sleep in.
Tabby Cats
Hookah has a lot to say in her cute, gravelly kitten voice and will gladly carry on an entire conversation with you. She’s friendly with people, but has not fully decided if she wants to be a lap cat — it entirely depends on if she’s in the mood or not. She is completely happy to snuggle up on the couch and watch a good movie with you, though! Only time will tell if she’ll turn into a full-on lounge kitty later in life, but she definitely wants one of her own.
Hookah Lounge
Hookah would do best in an active household with a kitty best friend to play with. She isn’t picky about their age or size, as long as they want to play, wrestle, and put up with her silly and spunky teenage antics! If you have a cranky older cat, as she does in her foster home, they do not appreciate her endless kitten energy (how dare they?!).
As far as doggos, she has met the respectful resident dog where she’s at and does okay with proper introductions. Kids would be fun for her to play with!
Rescue Kitten
Hookah is spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. She is also house-trained and has no special needs. If interested in adding this fun-loving girl to your family, please fill out an adoption application on the Southern Arizona Cat Rescue’s website.
